Greetings CCAK Family,
A few days ago, I shared a revised way to approach our devotional time with the Lord. It is based on this acronym PSALM.
- Prayer- Begin your time with the Lord with Prayer and Worship. Invite the Lord to walk with you throughout your day.
- Scripture- Read the scriptures. Open your mind and heart to allow God to speak to you as you read.
- Application- Put what the Lord speaks to you into action immediately.
- Lifestyle- Make obeying the Lord your lifestyle.
- Ministry- Allow ministry to flow from your lifestyle. The power of a testimony of God working in your life is that he will do the same thing for someone else through you.
So our daily scripture to read and apply together is:
- One Chapter in Proverbs
- One Chapter is the Gospels (starting with Matthew)
