Good Morning CCAK Family,
Thanks again for a wonderful Christmas Service. Worship was amazing. Our thanks to Rene Jr. who is always welcome to join the band. Our time together was a blessing. I just wish we could have had more time.
I have great news for this Sunday’s New Years Service at Ka Punawai Ola Care Home.
After finally getting a hold of the right people, I was able to confirm that we can go to the care home this Sunday at 10:00am. We will be the only group there so we can setup our mini service as usual.
That being said, I would like to get together this Wednesday at 6:30pm in the conference room. We will plan and prepare a little for our time with the residents.
My goal for the service is to bless the residents there through whatever gifts and talents we have and through us “crossing the chicken line” and stepping out in faith. What I’m referring to is spending some time with the residents individually to pray for them, sing to them, make them balloon animals, draw them a picture of what God thinks of them, etc.
We’ll talk more on Wednesday. See you then!
