School of Revival History2

Good Morning CCAK Family,

This is another tranformational week for us!  If you want to get a taste for what we will be experiencing this week, jump over to Pastor John Vierra’s blog and read a few articles about the Great Awakening and William Seymour.  You will be blessed!

My heart is to do whatever Father God wants.  I believe that is what is in your heart as well.  We all have our own desires, and many times God blesses our desires.  However, sometimes our desires can get in the way of God’s desires.  Remember, His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.

King David was a man after God’s own heart.  His desires and God’s desires coincided in many instances.  However some things in King David’s heart were not in God’s.

1 Chronicles 22:7-10 tells the story.

There are times we need to yeild to God because what is in our hearts is not what God desires.

We have been talking about leadership, promotion, and our hearts recently.  What is in our hearts is very important.  Without a pure heart, we will not see what God is doing.  And we should never make choices where our hearts condemn us.  But while our heart and passions are important, we cannot be people who are ruled by our hearts.

We have but one ruler, and His name is Jesus Christ, the King of kings, Lord of lords, and God of gods.

Blessings to you all!
